'Hushaar', Watch me if you have guts...: Review
Scare movies are rear in Sandalwood, if it is made also, audience reject due to its low class horror tricks, best example is ‘Mohini’, 'Operation Ankusha'. But trying to make a horror movie is a great. Director Adarsh must be given a salute.
Rather then story you should know only the part of it, ‘Hushaar’ is a horror cum murder mystery story, a shadow unexpectedly arrives, kills people and disappears. Audience will slightly confused about the story, you feel that you came to know about the killer, but again confusion, confusion… Adarsh has chosen a quite confusion story, but tried to make a good screenplay for it, he made his best to make audience to get confusion about the movie, where he succeeded too. In meanwhile to make the movie a good entertainer, he added comedy, songs, dance, including masala ’Mallika’ is part of it as a ‘product’.
As a director, actor, music director, lyricist… Adarsh has won. Mallika Kapoor is not bad in showing off rather than acting, Anand has done his best to give good comedy, Kempegowda as villain is scored good marks, two songs are listenable, dialogues is average.
‘Hushaar’ can be watched only by a strong ‘hearted’ person, if you have guts to watch Horror movie, you can…
